About the event
My name is David Black & welcome to my Upcycling Club
At HoB Upcycling Club, I aim to teach you the basics of upcycling & sustainable sewing, as well as fun techniques & ideas you can use to rework clothes you already have in your wardrobe.
Each month I will have a brand new technique we will be focusing on, from patchwork to hand sewing to beadwork & more. With each block working on a garment or product you can take away with you.
These first 3 sessions will be a great foundation to get you started, perfect for beginners or anyone looking to refresh their sewing skills. Focused on introducing you to using a sewing machine, I will guide you through the basics from setting up your machine, how to use your machine & helpful tips to get used to started sewing, all in a fun & friendly environment.
